happy birthday brinee mae!

We would like to greet Brinee Mae, an obedient daughter and a thoughtful sister, on her birthday today. Although she is almost 7000 kilometers away from where we are right now, we are assured that she is in God's loving hands all the time.

I actually intended to embarrass her by uploading her other childhood pictures that would have wonderfully chronicled the evolution of her hairstyle, fashion sense and boyfriend preference. But I decided not to because I love her too much and also because my future camera hinges on this post. I'd better do this right then.

Most of her friends could attest to her endearing personality which could brighten a party and win even the hardest of hearts. She is also the organizer in our family reunions, a job which she does very seriously. But most of all, I am amazed at the capacity of her heart to take everything this life has to offer by enjoying every pleasant moment or bouncing back from every unfortunate experience.

We are indeed thankful to the Lord for how He has strengthened and sustained my sister through all these years. As she celebrates another milestone this day, I pray then that God's presence continue to manifest in all areas of her life. May she experience joy in whatever circumstance she may find herself into and wherever she ends up next in this world.
